Trust & Experience

Trust, experience and service are core values and strengths of our business. With over 20 year’s commodity and financial market experience, you can be assured your commodity marketing is in capable hands.

Our role is to find, and negotiate for you, the best deal we can to suit your situation. We aim to secure the best possible return for your product and save you time in doing so. With 90 or so buyers, your product has a wide range of potential suitors. Who has time and contacts to make that many calls and be on top of the market all the time? That’s what we do and why we can help maximise your time and return. Counterparty risk insurance may also be arranged in most cases to protect your return.

Whilst purely a broking, not advisory service, our experience can assist in execution and guidance for your marketing. We’ve seen a lot of market situations over time. We work with you to achieve your targets and goals and alert you to opportunities.

Jayne’s experience working as a cotton merchant for a number of years provided valuable insight and in depth knowledge of the cotton market, which assists when it comes to marketing cotton. Being a born and bred grain grower provides a fundamental drive and knowledge for grain marketing.

Having built strong relationships with traders and end users over time, means quick access to good deals for you.

We value our strong loyal relationships with our grower clients. Our passion and drive is finding growers the best deal, hence we are always on a “Quest for the best”.

“Our farming business has been a client of Quest Commodities and in particular Jayne Barker’s for many years and have always found the level of professionalism and customer service to be exemplary. Quest’s access to various grain markets and up to date market intelligence has been able to place our grain in the highest value markets. We highly recommend Quest Commodities to help you get the best price for your farms harvest”.
